Carrying on our recent success in the area of digital literacy, our school website was awarded the Star Site award by scoilnet in September 2018. Scoilnet highlighted the our web page as it is
‘well maintained, kept up to date and reflects the pride that the pupils, teachers and parents take in the school.’

In 2015, following our validation visit, our school was awarded the coveted status of Digital School of Distinction. This status has taken much work by the whole school community in developing students engagement with ICT. The feedback in our report provided a roadmap for future development and indeed commended the great work of our boys and girls, staff and Parents Association. Our validator stated in his report “I believe the school, its teachers, students and community will continue to lead the way for other small, rural schools to follow. ”
We would like to take this opportunity to formally thank St. Cormac’s Parents Association for their support in embedding ICT use in our school through their most generous backing in purchasing Interactive Whiteboards, iPads and software in recent years.
